Ascale, part of the Pamesa Group, will sponsor Villarreal until 2025: “Football and ceramics are a perfect match in this province.”

Villarreal and Ascale, a company within the Pamesa Group, presented the sponsorship agreement on Tuesday, making the Castellon-based firm one of the club’s official sponsors until June 2025.

The event, part of the III edition of Cerámica Experience, took place at the facilities of the Pamesa Group company and featured speeches by Villarreal’s president, Fernando Roig, and Ascale’s commercial manager, Ramón Benlloch.

Roig introduced the club’s new official sponsor, stating, “Ascale is the youngest company in the Pamesa Group, manufacturing something the group didn’t have before: large format pieces for both interior and exterior use. It has been operational for seven years, and it joined the group in 2023.”

He also predicted a prosperous future for both entities: “Having a good sponsor like Ascale, and for them to have an ambassador like us, benefits us both in terms of promotion and mutual benefit. Football and ceramics are a perfect match in this province and should go hand in hand.”

Villarreal’s president highlighted the important role of ceramics in the province of Castellón: “95% of ceramics produced in Spain comes from the province of Castellón, and the goal is to promote ceramics through Villarreal. This involves us all and many cities and towns in the province. The sponsorship will debut this Friday against Real Sociedad.”

In his role as a ceramic entrepreneur, Roig expressed optimism about the sector’s prospects in 2024: “2023 was a challenging year, with politicians failing to manage the climate change situation. It was speculative. Fortunately, everything has stabilized in 2024. We are going to have a spectacular year in the province in terms of ceramics; in fact, I tell you, we will play in the Champions League or even win it.”

At the end of the presentation of the new collaboration, guests enjoyed a show cooking event with the players.
